summer '22

It's the beginning of the school holidays and its a long 6 weeks ahead.

But there are some fabulous outside spaces to explore in the Furness area.

We have an outside playground on our doorstep at Furness Abbey, with long woodland walks and nature, a large amphitheatre with stunning views and of course Furness Abbey and visitors centre itself.

Its great to head out for treats and refreshments along your walk, it gives the kids something to get a little bit excited about.

An English Lakes icecream, to take along your walk, or a delicious homemade cake and a stop for a little rest. Or why not book a table indoors for lunch?

We have some normality back with few tables inside the cafe which are regulaly booked up over the lunchtime period so make sure you give us a call on 01229 877739.
